HardingLowe Re-Engineers New Business Intake for AmLaw 30 Firm

HardingLowe has been engaged by an AmLaw 30 Washington, DC-based firm to re-engineer its New Business Intake function. We will be using our Law Firm Capability Blueprint to assess all aspects of this critical capability – strategy, policy, process, technology, and organization.

Like many firms, our client has grown in size and geographic reach, but retains a New Business Intake approach better suited for a smaller firm. Improving this function will have many benefits, including:

  • Improved risk-based decisions on whether and how to engage new clients and matters
  • Reduced wait for attorneys to get started
  • Quicker and more accurate billing
  • Reduced effort on the part of attorneys and secretaries
  • Reduced administrative overhead

As we work through our analysis, I will add a post describing our innovations.  In the meantime, I am thrilled to be supporting a top-tier firm on this important project.
